What is your investment strategy? In simple terms describe your investment approach.
Based on the U.S. and the Spanish markets, we follow a Multi-Strategy Approach. Our portfolio holds long and short positions on stocks, ETFs and ETNs listed in any U.S. stock exchange. Under normal market conditions, our fund invests with a long-term horizon, but a flexible percentage of the fund can be invested with a short-term perspective in order to take advantage on the existing market conditions. All our investments are allocated towards five different portfolios: Market Neutral, Event-Driven, Tactical Trading, Volatility and CANSLIM.
What do you think about the markets now?
Even when there are reasons to believe that the U.S. markets are overvalued by around 20%, we think that bulls are still going to rule them for the next following months. We presume that a weak U.S. dollar and looser-than-expected monetary policy from the FED have been and will continue to boost economic growth. This growth combined with a strong consumer and business confidence will hold the U.S. markets bullish.
Talking about the Spanish markets and based on historical data, we believe that Spanish equities are currently undervalued. We theorize that rapid growth will come after the political situation of Catalonia is finally put to rest and investors regain the confidence in Spanish political system and start putting an eye again on this markets.
What do you think will drive the markets in the near future?
